当下，陆仪按照祖先规矩，向灵位上的各位先人一一行过礼数，随后正式从陆缇手中接过象征族中权力的家尺，然后正式更名为逊，赐字伯言，代陆绩持撑门户纲纪。
待家中帐薄、钱粮、收支等一应事务交接完毕，陆缇将我唤到一旁，道：“少冲可知我要你来此的目的？”
我道：“陆仪的辈份要小上一辈，持撑门户与族规稍有冲突，这一次是让我作个见证吧。”
陆缇道袍飘飘，黑色与白色间现在她身上，是如此的和谐，恍然中如若天外仙子降临凡间，再衬着她那一张素雅清绝的面容，一双亮丽灵动的双眸，我一时心神激荡，几无适从。
陆缇道：“此其一也，按理说小仪要到年里才正式满十五岁，现在举行礼数早了些，只是我明日便要随师父云游去了，到时行踪不定，家中之事还是早作安排为上，此为其二。”
我一时无语，这些日子来，陆缇的一颦一笑和她的每一句话早已深刻在我的心里，对于我来说，陆缇已不只是我的救命恩人，更是与我心灵相通的红颜知已。
我犹记得，那日行舟湖上，当我将神亭岭上的千般战事、万般危险说与她听时，她脸上的神情也为我身处的绝境而紧张动容，她的目光中更流露出赞许的神色。待讲到我为了让诸军士脱困，假扮太史慈径取孙策时，陆缇亦不自禁击掌赞道：“少年任侠气，一诺千金重，是男儿当如此！”

《白银资本》里也提到奥斯曼帝国所受影响——“自1580年起由于西班牙的低廉白银和波斯钱币的强劲竞争，奥斯曼铸币被逐出商业流通领域。奥斯曼人用西班牙白银和波斯钱币维持了经济的发展，因此在1640年以后他们自己的铸币就完全停止使用了。”
从用白银代替铸币来看，基本与明朝一样，然而不同的是——
“财政危机成为17世纪的一种常态。某些城乡经济活动陷于停滞乃至衰退（Pamuk1994），但正如我们在下面将会看到的，有些活动转移到安纳托利亚的其他地方，并没有发生普遍的经济衰退。”虽然美洲日本的白银产量下降导致的中国的白银流入量急剧下降在多大程度上导致了明朝的灭亡，史学界并无定论，但有影响是肯定的。清初的禁海和迁海令给中国造成了严重的“银荒”是可以肯定的。可以说，清初的经济困难在很大程度上是由于白银流入量太少所造成的。所以，康熙在全国一平定就马上开海禁，也是有他不得已的原因。只是他这个原因促使的开禁，只是一个权宜之策，并不是他完全认识到了海外贸易之利。要认识这个道理，恐怕要等到1840年之后了。把一堆数据弄出来的时候，最好自己先检查一下！宣统元年是1909年。宣统二年才是1910年。宣统三年1911革命发生。

He did not omit to avail himself of the opportunity, cautiously and briefly: too cautiously to betray his presence by the slightest noise. Indeed, I shouldn't have discovered that he had been there, except for the disarrangement of the drapery about the corpse's face, and for observing on the floor a curl of light hair, fastened with a silver thread; which, on examination, I ascertained to have been taken from a locket hung round Catherine's neck. Heathcliff had opened the trinket and cast out its contents, replacing them by a black lock of his own. I twisted the two, and enclosed them together.

Mr Earnshaw was, of course, invited to attend the remains of his sister to the grave; and he sent no excuse, but he never came; so that, besides her husband, the mourners were wholly composed of tenants and servants. Isabella was not asked.
